Rocket Science Meets the Oil and Gas Industry

A strategic partnership was formed between USU's Space Dynamic Lab (SDL) and Purestream Technology to develop the next generation of environmentally responsible solutions for the oil and gas industry.

Incorporating 50-years of proven space innovation, the AVARA System utilizes a unique low-pressure, low-energy vapor recompression technology to treat and recycle waste water produced by oil and gas drilling activities.

The resulting output stream is distilled water that can be put back to beneficial use.
